BARC’s first field day outing of 2019 was during the RSGB National Field Day event on June 1st and 2nd. Perfect weather on the Saturday saw members setting up camp and experiencing operations from a low-noise site. We heard lots of station on 20m and some on 10m. Although the club didn’t enter the contest Paul G0VVM, Alan G3UQW and Richard M0RNE provided contacts for a number of entrants during Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The experience was certainly enjoyed by all of us – and thank you to all who attended to support and help out.
