We are a club of individuals who like to explore and have fun with radio, electronics and computing. Most meetings have a talk, on subjects such as Parks on the Air, direction finding and Meshtastic, and visitors are always welcome.

New to radio?
Although you do not need a licence to listen to amateur radio transmissions, you do need one to be able to join in the conversation. There are three levels of licence: Foundation, Intermediate and Full. The Foundation examination is a simple multiple-choice test.
- Come along to a club night Visitors are welcome, with or without a licence. The third Monday of every month, doors 7.30pm for 8.00pm, at May's Bounty.
- Want to get a licence? The exams can be taken online, and the Training page has the RSGB's resources to help you prepare. If you would like in-person training, get in touch.
- Why not join the club? Whether you have been to a few meetings or want to dive straight in, you can join online through Membermojo. Adult £15 and Senior £7.50 a year; Under 18 free.
