Monday sees our regular monthly meeting at Basingstoke Cricket Club when Noel G8GTZ will be providing an introduction to Oscar-100, the first geostationary satellite to carry an amateur radio transponder. The transponders are carried on board the Es’hail-2 satellite positioned at 25.9 degrees East and should link radio amateurs across a third of the globe from Brazil to Thailand.
